Each PRT66EM series reader can be used as a univer-sal identification point connected to the access con-troller or configured for autonomous work, as a simpleaccess controller for a single door. In the first case, thereader’s functionality is limited only to reading an identi-fier (card/PIN) and sending data to an external controller,which takes further action. In case of work in a standalo-ne mode, PRT66EM terminals can independently super-vise a single door using data entered in the process oftheir configuration.
